First Go-Pro Video

My lovely Wife got me a Go-Pro for Christmas.  I still have allot to learn on getting great footage but here is a taste.

These were two of the carp I caught on the Headstand Leech Proto-fly over the Christmas / New Years break.  One on an underhand flip cast drag and drop and the other on a over-hand cast drag and drop.

  2. It's nice you have a solid year round fishery. Moving water must be nice. The underpass reminds me of a canal I took my father to as a boy, when the water was lowered it remained a trickle due to the water table and only us kids knew about it. The trout were like buffalo, we couldn't seem to catch them all all winter. Some huge, He wasn't impressed. Anyway, you've done well these past years early, keep it up!

    1. That underpass is actually a royal pain in my butt. That was the FIRST carp I have ever caught there despite plenty of effort. No idea why.

    1. By all reports Beaver Island was unusually difficult last year. Should be better in the future.

  4. Below zero temps makes for bad fishing here now. And we got 12" of snow yesterday. January could be in jeopardy.
